Biography

Gerardo Vildostegui will be a Visiting Assistant Professor during the Spring 2007 semester and the 2007-8 academic year.

He received a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale College and a J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of Vol. 109 of the Yale Law Journal. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley and is writing a dissertation on the relationship between history and morality. His areas of interest include moral and political philosophy, public international law, jurisprudence, constitutional law, and the history of philosophy.

Mr. Vildostegui will teach a seminar on Secession and Self-Determination in Fall 2007 and a section of Constitutional Law in Spring 2008.
